eBridge Inc. Named One of the Top 300 Small Businesses in the South
Company’s rank to be revealed in June event held by Business Leader Media
May 31, 2011 –eBridge Inc., a Tampa-based provider of hosted
document management solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, was recently
named one of the Top 300 Small Businesses of the South by Business Leader Media.
The annual competition, now in its fourth year, seeks nominations for the best small
businesses in Tampa and eight additional Southern regions – Triangle, Nashville,
Triad, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Miami and Memphis. To qualify, companies
must employ fewer than 100 employees, generate a significant portion of its business
locally, and have been in business for five or more years.
Winners are chosen based on three main categories: revenue growth, business achievement,
and community achievement. For revenue growth, Business Leader looks at both one-
and five-year revenue growth. Business achievement includes the number of years
in business, the number of current employees, the company’s impact on local
economy and any industry-specific honors and awards the nominated companies may
have received in the past.
Revenue growth and business achievement account for 40% of a nominees’ score;
community achievement comprises an additional 20%.
eBridge has been honored to receive several awards recognizing its growth and dedication
to employees and the local community. For the second year in a row, they ranked
as one of Tampa’s Best Places to Work by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, and
has been listed in TBBJ’s Fast 50 since 2009, as well as the Inc. 5000. The
company was also named one of the Best Places to Work in Florida by Florida Trend
Magazine in 2010.

For the first year since the awards debuted in 2008, businesses from the nine Southern
markets will be ranked against one another at June awards ceremonies taking place
in each market. The Tampa event will be held on June 22, with the time and location
still to be announced.
